Short-Acting Beta Agonists
This particular medication is most common in use for asthma treatment as it provides a quick relief to the asthma patient. Example of short-acting beta agonists is Albuterol, which is very effective for treatment in Asthma Episodes. Frequent use of these short -acting beta agonists is neither recommended nor beneficial if the disease is under control.
Immunomodulators
Another effective asthma medication is called Immunomodulators, specifically for people having severe Asthma problem. This medication controls asthma by directly acting on the immune system of human body which produces a faster result. In contrast, this direct action can be dangerous as well as it can cause severe allergic reactions.
