Chronic asthma is pretty painful and if the doctors have diagnose this type of asthma in your case, the first thing you should do is to ban smoke from your house as smoking is one of the biggest triggers of asthma. Try to avoid contact with pets as their hair has also been accused of starting an asthma attack.

Many a time it has also been noticed that there are more side effects of using chronic asthma drugs in the elderly than the younger lot. All in all, the symptoms of a chronic asthma are not much different from the regular asthma, of course they are much more severe and need more care and better medication.
