Facial Massage Method
Although there are many methods for you to give yourself a facial massage, but perhaps the best facial massage method is the one that I m describing below for your convenience which you can also conduct at home without any difficult whatsoever.Before you begin always take care of a few things for example your face should be clean and without any traces of dirt. Then apply cream smoothly on your face, so that your fingers can slip on the face easily. Apply more than what's necessary. The strokes should be gentle and soft, gradually slowing down as the massage progresses. Try to time it with your breathing.
Step by step procedure:
1. Start at the forehead, essentially, the centre. Gradually the fingers should move across the brow in circular motions. Preferably six times or so, repeat the whole procedure at least three times. You will finish by gently pressing the pressure points at the temples for at least three times or so. The slight depressions between the bones at the temples are your pressure points if there is a problem locating them. Now when you apply pressure on your temples, you should keep in consideration the fact that if any pain is felt anytime, you are doing something wrong as the main point is to give relief and not pain.
2. Then comes the next step; which involves sliding fingers downward along the sides of your nose, starting from the inner hollow of the eye. You should ideally make use of your left hand to massage the right side of the nose, and the right hand for the left side. This should also be done at least for three times to have maximum rewards.
3. Then you need to pay attention to the mouth part. First of all you need to massage around the lower lip, moving outward and upward gradually which will help lift the corners of the mouth. You should at least try to do it three times for good results.
4. Eyes are also a very important part that needs to be properly massaged. For that what you have to do is to apply pressure to the the pressure points just under brow bone below the inner eyebrows and count to 3. Then slide along fingers under brow, around and under the eyes, and then go back to the point where you started in 6 counts.
5. Now there is chin as well which is usually a problematic point of women, as they start developing a double chin very easily. The most effective exercise is the scissors like motion that you can perform by grasping your chin with the index and middle finger at the jaw, and then gently sliding your fingers across the length of your jaw. You have to bend index finger and place it under the jaw and then by using the side of the index finger and pad of the thumb, you have to massage all the way back to right ear and this motion should be repeated with the left hand as well for at least six times.
I have given a very brief version of this facial massage method but it can be studied in detail to make it more effective.
