Many people complaint that even though they increase their water intake to a great extent, they still don't seem to lose any considerable weight at all. But what happens is that during the first few days of drinking more water than usual, you'll be running to the bathroom on a constant basis and this alone can discourage you a lot. But if you are extremely obese, then ideally you should drink another eight ounces for every 25 pounds of excess weight you carry. Of course this is a standard for people living in normal climates. For people who are living in an extremely hot and humid weathers it is much better to drink much more.

Remember that is how much water you should drink for weight loss. If you want to drink more, it's very well your own call. And you don't need to drink all of it up at one time. It needs to be divided throughout the day.
